How XWA Delivers Strong University Outcomes

Strong IB results open doors. Structured, personalised guidance ensures students walk through the right ones.

At XWA, University Guidance begins in Grade 8, giving students a four-year runway before applications. This early start allows them to make informed subject choices, build strong academic profiles, and shape Extended Essay and CAS experiences that align with competitive university expectations, well before final exams.

Students are supported through a low counsellor-to-student ratio of around 1:30 per grade, ensuring personalised attention at every stage. This is balanced with strong pastoral care, so students are supported not just academically, but in their wellbeing and confidence throughout the process.

Throughout the journey, students gain direct exposure to global universities through fairs, alumni panels, and on-campus visits from admissions officers. Combined with tailored application strategies across different countries, this approach turns strong profiles into compelling, successful applications.

Bilingual Diploma Achievement

21% of graduates earned a bilingual diploma. For families raising multilingual children, this recognition confirms that both languages developed to an academic standard, well beyond conversational fluency.

The IB awards a bilingual diploma when a student completes two Language A subjects at native or near-native level, or writes their extended essay in a second language. Students finish school with formal recognition of bilingual academic proficiency.
